タミヤ1/48 二式水上戦闘機「藤色の伝説・黄昏編」

　ブラボーとは

基本塗装は水溶きアクリル筆塗り。機体下地はスカイグレイ、上面応急迷彩はスカイグレイ＋フラットレッドを薄く溶いて叩き塗りし、スポンジヤスリ1000番で水研ぎ。リキテックス･ペインティングメディウムを上塗りして少し光沢を出した。

「藤色二式水戦」にはいくつかの仮説がある。今回は「高緯度地方の長い黄昏に溶け込むよう、下地色の赤褐色と本体色の灰色を混ぜて塗ったのでは」という説に基づき塗装。むしろ濁ったピンクだ。

「いくら黄昏が長いとはいえ、出撃時刻が選べない防空用の水戦を特定の光線に合わせて塗装するのは合理的か？」という疑問は残る。しかし、別に考察が目的ではないので気にしない。

応急迷彩なのでマスキングせず、キャノピー、日の丸、機番などはよけて塗った。

There are several hypotheses about the "violet/purple Rufe" rumor. In this case, I painted after the theory that the primer, reddish brown, and the main body color, gray, were mixed together to blend in with the long twilight of the high latitudes. It's rather a muddy pink.

Since this is a makeshift camouflage, I did not mask off the canopy, the rising sun, and the aircraft number.
